Nutcases. Same type of folk Paul spoke of in 1 Timothy who 'want to be teachers of the law', but don't understand the things they make confident assertions about.

I think what he or she is trying to do is show how the Bible is self-contradictory and therefore not the word of God and therefore not true.




The person uses horrible web-degin, terrible philosophy, and poor writing to get it across.





Take for instance the burning bush=devil conclusion.





1) Hell is described by the Bible as a fire that burns but does not consume.


2) The burning bush is described by the Bible as a fire that burned but did not consume.


C-1):. The burning bush is from hell.


4) The Devil is from/in charge of Hell.


C-2):. The burning bush was from the Devil.

That is terrible reasoning. They take and accidental property of two things and since they both share that property, they are equated.








Take the following quote:

Everybody knows that sale of soul to the devil brings the wealth of earth to the


seller. Of course there will have to be a day of reckoning. That's the day the


seller passes on and stands before the great judgment seat of God.





Anytime the phrase, "Everybody knows... is used the BS detector starts blaring like bad music from a dance club. I don't know that. I asked my wife and she does not know that. Everybody in fact does not know that. The introduction of a controversial unsupported claim is also bad reasoning.





Just looking at the first few paragraphs is enough to make me stop taking the person seriously.





The fact that the site makes my eyes bleed almost as much as myspace does is not helpful to the person's case.

It gave me a headache too. If you like to read what non-christians say maybe check out "ex-christians" .com (I dont know if that is the proper name, but it should get you there).

Yeah I glanced at it too, he's trying to say that Moses sold his soul to the Devil and that all Biblical history is a fabrication. One problem the exitance of the Devil depends upon Biblical history.




This is just bad conspiracy theory applied to theology.
