Lord willing I might be teaching my old youth group back in KC over Thanksgiving. As such I figured I would teach on Mark 5:1-20. I am wondering if anyone has the time if they could provide some constructive feedback to the sermon/message. I’ll warn you that the sermon is in manuscript form–it’s what helps me preach most effectively–so it’s a little long, 10 pages in Microsoft Word. In the circles I run and grew up in, there is a strong emphasis on expository or verse by verse preaching.  I like the abstract notion of it because of the lack of biblical literacy in our churches and the high value it places on the Bible.  However, I came across the following interview of Andy Stanley by Ed Stetzer a few weeks ago which has just been burning a hole in me ever since.  I, too, cheat by reproducing a few of the questions below, the excerpts from Andy Stanley on Communication (Part 2) from EdStetzer.com.  I would love to hear your thoughts on the subject.
